Multifrequency operation technique for aperture coupled microstrip antennas
Proceedings of IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium and URSI National Radio Science Meeting, 2002A multiple frequency operation technique is proposed for a microstrip antenna, in which the structure is fed by a microstrip line through an aperture coupling. The technique is general and can also be applied to microstrip antennas with other feed types. It allows the antenna to operate at several discrete frequencies over a wide frequency band. >

Multifrequency characteristics of sinc shaped microstrip patch antenna
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2007AbstractCharacteristics of a single‐layer, multi‐frequency microstrip patch antenna, which uses a Sinc shaped microstrip patch configuration, are studied. This antenna is capable of providing good impedance matching at all frequencies without tuning the feed position and other design parameters. A parametric study is conducted using commercial software

A novel compact, microstrip antenna with multifrequency operation
2009 International Seminar/Workshop on Direct and Inverse Problems of Electromagnetic and Acoustic Wave Theory, 2009A single layer, single feed, multi frequency, compact rectangular micro strip patch antenna is proposed. Resonant frequency has been reduced drastically by cutting unequal rectangular slots at the edge of the patch along with two tiny circular slots created inside the patch to improve return loss.

Multifrequency and beam steered electromagnetic band gap antennas
IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Symposium, 2004., 2004EBG antennas are very thin and high gain antennas. They provide a great control of the power radiated. The antennas studied in this paper are realised with periodic dielectric materials. Classically they present directive patterns for one frequency band, but it is possible to design them to radiate directive patterns for multiple frequency bands.

Advances in loading techniques to design multifrequency monopole antennas
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2004AbstractA top‐loading technique for monopole antennas which permits us to obtain a multiband performance from a wide set of antenna geometries is presented. Dual‐band and a triple‐band monopole antenna designs are described in detail, featuring both similar input impedances and radiation pattern across the different bands. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.

The filter for horn antenna multifrequency data processing
International Conference on Mathematical Methods in Electromagnetic Theory, 2003The transceiver horn antenna used in multifrequency microwave measurements for probing a structure under the test and receiving reflected power has two reference discontinuities. This causes the obtained reflectivity dependency to be a superposition of two similar echo characteristics, so that clearly discerning reflectivity signal peaks and estimating

Antenna pattern measurements: UWB impulse and multifrequency signals comparison
2017 XI International Conference on Antenna Theory and Techniques (ICATT), 2017This paper describes some aspects of wideband (or ultrawideband) measurements of characteristics of antennas which does not require expensive anechoic chambers. The idea of the method is based on exciting the antenna under test by very short impulse which spectrum covers the band of interest and on analysis of spectra of the radiated signals ...

A novel feed for a multifrequency hybrid resonator antenna
IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2005A novel feed technique for a hybrid resonator antenna is proposed and developed. The antenna consists of microstrip-patch radiator and a pair of twin resonator slots. The proposed feed mechanism is based on a new coupling aperture technique, in which a single microstrip feed line is etched on the same side of the substrate as the radiating patches. The
