Ferromagnetic resonance in Co/W multilayers

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 1992
Magnetic properties and structural contribution have been characterized in Co/W multilayers. FMR spectra have been measured in order to study the magnetic properties of Co layers in alternating W layers as a nonmagnetic counterpart. Three resonance modes have been found, and their spectra depend mainly on the layer thickness of Co. Bulk originated mode

Resonance Magnetoelectric Effect in Multilayer Composites

Ferroelectrics, 2002
The phenomenological theory is presented on the influence of external electric field on the shift of resonance magnetic field, magnetic and magnetoelectric (ME) susceptibilities of composites. The shift of resonance magnetic field is proportional to linear and bilinear ME constants.

Spin wave resonance in FeNi multilayers

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 1991
Abstract The spin wave resonance (SWR) at 9.2 GHz has been investigated in a multilayer structure of 190 nm overall thickness composed of alternating films of Fe (8 nm) and Ni (10 nm). At room temperature three different resonances are observed in the parallel as well as in the perpendicular configuration. With the external field perpendicular to the

Resonance properties of multilayer metallic nanocantilevers

SPIE Proceedings, 2013
Resonant properties of the three-layer metallic cantilevers with 40 nm thickness are investigated. Two types of the nanocantilevers were fabricated: Cr-Al-Cr and Ti-Al-Ti. Resonant frequencies of the nanocantilevers were determined from the experimentally obtained resonant curves.

Generalized multilayer anisotropic dielectric resonators

1998 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest (Cat. No.98CH36192), 2000
Modeling of the generalized multilayer cylindrical anisotropic dielectric loaded resonator by a rigorous mode-matching method is presented in this paper. Eigenmodes of the multilayer two parallel-plate waveguides are obtained. By cascading the radial discontinuities of the structure, resonant frequency, field distribution, unloaded Q, and the frequency

Ferromagnetic resonance in Co/Pt multilayers

Journal of Shanghai University (English Edition), 2007
Out-of-plane angular dependence of ferromagnetic resonance spectra was measured in sputtered Co/Pt multilayers and analyzed with the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation. The effective demagnetizing field 4πM eff is found to increase with decreasing t Pt and decreasing 1/t Co, which can be considered as a ...

Rectangular and Triangular Multilayer Microstrip Resonators

2006 Conference on Optoelectronic and Microelectronic Materials and Devices, 2006
Rectangular and triangular discretized multilayer microstrip resonators, analyzed using the full wave TTL - Transverse Transmission Line method in the spectral domain, jointly with the moment method is presented. The Homogenization theory is used to calculate the equivalent permittivity for the s and p polarizations of the structure composed of PBG ...

Josephson plasma resonance in superconducting multilayers

Physical Review B, 1998
We derive an analytical solution for the Josephson plasma resonance of superconducting multilayers. This analytical solution is derived mainly for low-${T}_{c}$ systems with magnetic coupling between the superconducting layers, but many features of our results are more general, and thus an application to the recently derived plasma resonance phenomena ...

Josephson Plasma Resonance in Superconducting Multilayers

IETE Journal of Research, 1999
