A single antenna interference cancellation and adaptive technique based on ALOE
A new type of single antenna interference cancellation (SAIC) algorithm based on ALOE filtering module is introduced for co-channel interference cancellation in GSM/GPRS/EDGE downlink without changing the link structure of traditional receiver.Meanwhile ...

Coherent Storage of Temporally Multimode Light Using a Spin-Wave Atomic Frequency Comb Memory
We report on coherent and multi-temporal mode storage of light using the full atomic frequency comb memory scheme. The scheme involves the transfer of optical atomic excitations in Pr3+:Y2SiO5 to spin-waves in the hyperfine levels using strong single ...

ABSTRACT Our previous clinical trials had demonstrated that neoadjuvant hypofractionated radiotherapy (HFRT) combined with immunotherapy yields promising clinical outcomes in locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC). However, this combined modality benefits only a subset of patients, highlighting the need to uncover the mechanisms underlying how ...

Stress test and analysis based on SMS fiber structure with high sensitivity
Single mode-multimode-single mode(SMS)sensor is widely used for parameters measurement, such as bending, displacement, temperature, strain, refractive index, etc.Generally,SMS sensor has advantages of simple structure, low cost and easy layout, therefore it has ...

Legumain (LGMN) is upregulated in macrophages during sarcoid‑like granuloma formation. Macrophage‑derived LGMN binds to integrin αvβ3 and suppresses mTORC1/STAT1 signaling to restrain M1 macrophage polarization. Intratracheal delivery of lipid nanoparticles carrying Lgmn plasmid DNA (pDNA) elevates LGMN expression and effectively attenuates pulmonary ...

Glutamine deprivation triggers transient DNA damage yet activates adaptive repair in hepatocellular carcinoma cells. We identify TRIB3 as a stress‐induced nuclear scaffold that associates with DDX5 and G‐quadruplex DNA atBRCA1 andRAD51AP1 promoters. TRIB3 loss increases G4 accumulation, suppresses HR gene transcription, elevates γ‐H2A.X, and sensitizes

Vibration Fiber Sensors Based on SM-NC-SM Fiber Structure
A novel vibration sensor based on the single mode (SM)-no core (NC)-SM fiber structure is proposed and experimentally sensing results demonstrated. By numerical simulation, we use an NC fiber (NCF) as the multimode waveguide structure for the multimode ...

Mode interference in quantum joint probabilities for multimode Bose-condensed systems
The method of defining quantum joint probabilities of two events is applied to a multimode system of trapped Bose-condensed atoms. The coherent modes are generated by modulating the trapping potential with an alternating field with a frequency in ...

We studied how five common immunosuppressants behave when delivered directly to a transplant site instead of systemically. Using a vascularized implant for islet transplantation, we show that local delivery protects grafts, limits drug spread to the rest of the body, and produces distinct immune signatures.
