Piezoresistive Monitoring of Carbon Nanomaterial‐Reinforced Epoxy Composites Under Cyclic and Fatigue Loading: A Review

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 28, Issue 8, 22 April 2026.
Carbon nanomaterial‐reinforced epoxy composites exhibit pronounced piezoresistive behavior, enabling intrinsic damage sensing under cyclic and fatigue loading. This review critically compares carbon nanotube and graphene systems, correlating filler content, percolation threshold, and gauge factor with sensing stability and damage evolution.

Experimental study of transmission of ultrasonic wave in optical fibers

open access: yesArchives of Acoustics, 2008
Optical waveguides are commonly used to transmit electromagnetic radiation. The possibility of acoustic wave propagation in optical waveguides creates new prospects for simultaneous transmission of laser beam and ultrasonic wave.

Time‐Resolved Photoluminescence Lifetime Measurements of Organic Photovoltaic Materials

open access: yesphysica status solidi (a), Volume 223, Issue 8, 22 April 2026.
A nondestructive measurement technique utilizing time‐correlated single photon counting (TCSPC), based on photoluminescence statistics is presented for organic photovoltaic materials. This method identifies a comparative parameter independent of absorber layer thickness and the presence of transport layers (ETL/HTL).

Spatiotemporal dynamics in multimode nonlinear optical fibers

open access: yes, 2019
We overview experiments associated with nonlinear beam propagation in multimode optical fibers. We show that complex spatio-temporal phenomena permit to control the nonlinear beam reshaping across its spatial, temporal and spectral dimensions.
