Hunga‐Tonga Volcano Plumbing System Inferred From Virtual Seismometer Approach
Abstract We present a surface wave tomography application based on event‐pair interferometry to investigate local (∼100 km) mid‐ocean crustal structures, with a particular focus on imaging a potential crustal solidified intrusive complex in a region lacking seismic stations.

GPS multipath errors in the precision landing environment [PDF]
Aircraft guidance and positioning during the final approach and landing phases of flight requires a high degree of accuracy. The Global Positioning System operating in differential mode (DGPS) is being considered for this application.

Detection of Equatorial Plasma Bubbles Using the COSMIC‐2 Rate of TEC Index
Abstract Equatorial plasma bubbles (EPBs) are large‐scale plasma depletion structures that can disrupt Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and other space‐based technologies. Several instruments have been employed to study EPB dynamics, with Total Electron Content (TEC) and Rate of TEC change Index (ROTI) data standing out as valuable parameters

Abstract Ionospheric scintillation in the Equatorial Ionization Anomaly (EIA) region significantly impacts the performance of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). While scintillation characteristics have been widely studied globally, the evolution of scintillation events remains underexplored.

Simulation and Performance Analysis of MP-OLSR for Mobile Ad hoc Networks [PDF]
Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) consist of a collection of wireless mobile nodes which dynamically exchange data without reliance on a fixed base station or a wired backbone network, which makes routing a crucial issue for the design of a ad hoc networks.

Abstract This study evaluates 17 ionospheric models' performance over the Continental United States (CONUS) during the 2024 Mother's Day geomagnetic storm, using ground‐based GNSS Total Electron Content (TEC) and single‐frequency (SF) precise Single Point Positioning (SPP) technique. The storm produced significant positive storm effects during its main

Smartphone Carrier Phase TEC: A Study Across Ionospheric Spatio‐Temporal Scales
Abstract This study explores the potential of dual‐frequency smartphones as accessible tools for citizen science in ionospheric research. While prior work by Smith et al. (2024, https://doi.org/10.1038/s41586‐024‐08072‐x) demonstrated global ionospheric monitoring using aggregated pseudorange Total Electron Content (TEC) data from millions of Android ...
