Multipath Routing

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014
Multipath routing can be effectively used for maximum utilization of network resources. It gives the node a choice of next hops for the same destination. We present two tree based algorithms, which we call MSPT and MBFT that can help a node to find multiple next hops for a destination.

PEMP: Peering Equilibrium MultiPath Routing

GLOBECOM 2009 - 2009 IEEE Global Telecommunications Conference, 2009
It is generally admitted that Inter-domain peering links represent nowadays the main bottleneck of the Internet, particularly because of lack of coordination between providers, which use independent and "selfish" routing policies. We are interested in identifying possible "light" coordination strategies, that would allow carriers to better control ...

Multipath Associativity Based Routing

Second Annual Conference on Wireless On-demand Network Systems and Services, 2005
This paper introduces a series of new multipath routing protocols developed upon Associativity Based Routing (ABR) for wireless ad-hoc networks. ABR selects routes based on their stability and is an on-demand reactive routing protocol similar to Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) and Ad-Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing (AODV).

Jamming-Resilient Multipath Routing

IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, 2012
Jamming attacks are especially harmful to the reliability of wireless communication, as they can effectively disrupt communication between any node pairs. Existing jamming defenses primarily focus on repairing connectivity between adjacent nodes. In this paper, we address jamming at the network level and focus on restoring the end-to-end data delivery ...
