Research on Harmonics of Multiphase Induction Motors
2007 IEEE International Electric Machines & Drives Conference, 2007Though a lot of advantages over the conventional three-phase drives, systems composed by multiphase motor and voltage source inverter (VSI) have a drawback of great harmonic currents in stator windings. Where doubly excited phases have been used, either for torque production or position detection, the mutual coupling and effects of mutual saturation have been neglected. Performance Analysis of Multiphase Induction Motor Drive
2010 International Conference on Electrical and Control Engineering, 2010This paper analyses the mathematic model of multiphase induction motor, and the magnetic motive force generated by the harmonic currents. Compared to three phase drives, the multiphase motor drives have the advantage of performances on dead-time effect, common mode voltage, technology of non-sinusoidal source fed and reliability.
