Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Summary statistics for spatio-temporal point processes on linear networks
We propose novel second/higher-order summary statistics for inhomogeneous spatio-temporal point processes when the spatial locations are limited to a linear network.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Interpretability of Methods for Switch Point Detection in Electronic Dance Music
Switch points are a specific kind of cue point that DJs carefully look for when mixing music tracks. As the name says, a switch point is the point in time where the current track in a DJ mix is replaced by the upcoming track. Being able to identify these

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Change point for multinomial data using phi-divergence test statistics [PDF]
We propose two families of maximally selected phi-divergence tests for studying change point locations when the unknown probability vectors of a sequence of multinomial random variables, with possibly different sizes, are piecewise constant.

Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Multiple births; United States, 1964 [PDF]
Presents statistics for sets of multiple births occurring in the United States in 1964. Discusses trends in the incidence of multiple births and variations in rates for twin and triplet births by age of mother, number of previous live births, and race ...

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.
