On Multiple-Access in Queue-Length Sensitive Systems

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society, 2020
We consider transmission of packets over queue-length sensitive unreliable links, where packets are randomly corrupted through a noisy channel whose transition probabilities are modulated by the queue-length.

Non‐orthogonal multiple access without channel state information for similar channel conditions

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2019
A downlink non‐orthogonal multiple access with QPSK input constellations based on virtual channel optimisation is presented to address the similar channel conditions scenario.

Is NOMA Efficient in Multi-Antenna Networks? A Critical Look at Next Generation Multiple Access Techniques

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society, 2021
In the past few years, a large body of literature has been created on downlink Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA), employing superposition coding and Successive Interference Cancellation (SIC), in multi-antenna wireless networks.

On a multiple-access in a vector disjunctive channel [PDF]

open access: yes2013 IEEE International Symposium on Information Theory, 2013
We address the problem of increasing the sum rate in a multiple-access system from [1] for small number of users. We suggest an improved signal-code construction in which in case of a small number of users we give more resources to them. For the resulting multiple-access system a lower bound on the relative sum rate is derived.

A Formulation of the Channel Capacity of Multiple-Access Channel [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2009
The necessary and sufficient condition of the channel capacity is rigorously formulated for the N-user discrete memoryless multiple-access channel (MAC). The essence of the formulation is to invoke an {\em elementary} MAC where sizes of input alphabets are not greater than the size of output alphabet.

Analysis of factors affecting the operation of the communication system with nonorthogonal multiple access [PDF]

open access: yesITM Web of Conferences, 2019
NOMA is a group of non-orthogonal multiple access methods [1]. In this article, we talk about the Power Domain (Division) NOMA method. It is a non-orthogonal multiple access method with channel separation by power [2].

Polar Coding for the Multiple Access Channel With Confidential Messages

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
The multiple access channel with confidential messages (MAC-CM) generalizes the traditional multiple access channel by allowing both users to receive channel outputs.

Performance of Downlink NOMA for a Massive IoT Network Over a Nakagami-m Fading Channel With Optimized Power Allocation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) is a multiple access technology that can provide efficient spectrum utilization and increased channel capacity on Internet of Things (IoT) networks.

Source-channel coding for the multiple-access relay channel [PDF]

open access: yes2011 8th International Symposium on Wireless Communication Systems, 2011
This work considers reliable transmission of general correlated sources over the multiple-access relay channel (MARC) and the multiple-access broadcast relay channel (MABRC). In MARCs only the destination is interested in a reconstruction of the sources, while in MABRCs both the relay and the destination want to reconstruct the sources.
