In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Chip-Level Channel Equalization in WCDMA Downlink
The most important third generation (3G) cellular communications standard is based on wideband CDMA (WCDMA). Receivers based on TDMA style channel equalization at the chip level have been proposed for a WCDMA downlink employing long spreading sequences ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Particle Filtering for Multiple Access DS/CDMA Systems DS/CDMA Channel Estimation
This article discusses computational implementation aspects and performance of a Bayesian methodology, namely particle filter (PF). The PF channel estimation technique is directly applied to the channel coefficients estimation of DS/CDMA systems ...

Delay minimization in multiple access channels [PDF]
We investigate a delay minimization problem in a multiple access wireless communication system. We consider a discrete-time non-fading additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) multiple access channel. In each slot, bits arrive at the transmitters randomly according to some distribution, which is i.i.d. from user to user and from slot to slot.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

N-DCF: MAC overhead reduction using narrow channel contention in wireless networks
This paper presents a medium access control protocol for wireless networks that improves system spectral efficiency using multiple channels. Use of multiple narrow channels has already been proposed as a solution to reduce MAC overhead, but merely ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Reduced Complexity Rate-Splitting Multiple Access Beamforming for Generalized Objectives
Rate splitting multiple access (RSMA) enables interference management trade-offs between space-division multiple access (SDMA) and non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) to serve multiple users in the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) broadcast ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.
