Efficient Adaptive Turbo Equalization for Multiple-Input–Multiple-Output Underwater Acoustic Communications

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Oceanic Engineering, 2018
An efficient adaptive turbo equalization (ATEQ) scheme is proposed for multiple-input–multiple-output underwater acoustic (UWA) communications. The proposed ATEQ scheme utilizes two layers of iterative processing: The inner-layer iteration is the soft ...

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Joint user activity and signal detection for massive multiple-input multiple-output

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2021
In uplink grant-free massive multiple-input multiple-output (mMIMO) systems, the performance of available methods for joint user activity and signal detection deteriorates when the correlation of receiving antennas or the number of active devices ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Robust adaptive beamforming for multiple-input multiple-output radar with spatial filtering techniques

open access: yesSignal Processing, 2018
In this paper, we consider robust adaptive beamformer design for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar systems. The desired transmit-receive steering vector is estimated through maximizing the output power subject to constraints upon correlation ...

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Liquid biopsy‐based diagnostic evaluation of hypermethylated CpG sites for ovarian cancer diagnosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This schematic outlines the workflow from biomarker identification to duplex MethyLight assay validation for epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosis using cfDNA‐based liquid biopsy. Initial screening of hypermethylated CpG candidates (cg02957270, cg10061138 cg00480298, COL2A1) was performed in tissue using ARMS‐PCR, COBRA, qPCR and image analysis. Selected
