Effective Throughput of Cognitive Multiple Access Channel Under Collision Constraints and Imperfect Sensing

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2015
The problem of effective throughput of multiple secondary users access to the spectrum of primary user in the cognitive multiple access channel under collision constraints and imperfect channel state information was discussed.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Channel-Aware Multichannel Random Access for Energy-Limited Sensors and MTC Devices

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In machine-type communications (MTC) or wireless sensor networks (WSNs), since MTC devices or sensors have limited supply of energy, energy efficient transmission schemes are important.

On Buffer-Aided Multiple-Access Relay Channel

open access: yes, 2016
The paper treats uplink scenario where M user equipments (UEs) send to a Base Station (BS), possibly via a common Relay Station (RS) that is equipped with a buffer. This is a multiple-access relay channel (MARC) aided by a buffer. We devise a protocol in

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

On a Multiple-Access in a Vector Disjunctive Channel

open access: yes, 2013
We address the problem of increasing the sum rate in a multiple-access system from [1] for small number of users. We suggest an improved signal-code construction in which in case of a small number of users we give more resources to them.

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Multiple Parallel Federated Learning via Over-the-Air Computation

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society, 2022
This paper investigates multiple parallel federated learning in cellular networks, where a base station schedules several FL tasks in parallel and each task has a group of devices involved.

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

On the Exact Distribution of Mutual Information of Two-User MIMO MAC Based on Quotient Distribution of Wishart Matrices

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2017
We propose an exact calculation of the probability density function (PDF) and cumulative distribution function (CDF) of mutual information (MI) for a two-user multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) multiple access channel (MAC) network over block Rayleigh
