The Green's functions for the line force and dislocation that satisfy the traction free boundary condition on the surfaces of arbitrary multiple straight cracks in the isotropic solids are obtained. We develop the hybrid Green's functions combining the analytical and numerical Green's function methods.

COMPLEX VARIABLE FUNCTION SOLUTIONS OF STRESS INTENSITY FACTORS FOR MULTIPLE HOLE-EDGE CRACKS
The acceleration effect in the process of collinear hole-edge cracks propagation of aircraft fuselage skin structure is mainly manifested by the interaction of stress intensity factors between multiple fatigue cracks. A modified approximate superposition

Mathematical model of riveted joint multiple site damage
Multiple Site Damage (MSD) is one of the significant damaging factors that limit the airworthiness of aging fleet aircrafts. In case of MSD multiple fatigue cracks initiates and propagates at the rivet holes.

Fatigue properties and fracture mechanism of load carrying type fillet joints with one-sided welding [PDF]
The structures of the hydraulic excavator and the crane have numerous one-sided welded joints. However, attachments with box like structures are difficult to weld at both sides. Therefore, high accurate evaluation method is needed.

Single-resonance-based radio frequency (RF) resonators cannot detect multiple cracks simultaneously nor localize the position of a crack. To address these drawbacks, we propose a complementary split-ring resonator (CSRR)-loaded array.

A novel weight function for RMS stress intensity factor determination in surface cracks [PDF]
This paper discusses the problem of stress intensity factor determination in surface cracks. In particular, the concept of root mean square stress intensity factors (RMS SIF) is discussed for the general class of semi-elliptical surface cracks.

Static repair of multiple cracked beam using piezoelectric patches
This paper addresses the problem of repairing multiple cracked beams subjected to static load using piezoelectric patches. First, the problem is formulated and solved analytically for the case of two cracks that results in ratio of restoring moments ...
