Design of 5-Bit Flash ADC Using Multiple Input Standard Cell Gates for Large Input Swing
2017 IEEE Computer Society Annual Symposium on VLSI (ISVLSI), 2017This paper proposes the different way of designing standard-cell based flash ADC in order to increase its input dynamic range. It includes implementation of 5-bit flash ADC for fully automated digital synthesis. The input dynamic range is increased by including 5-input logic gates.

A 10-bit 10 MS/s SAR ADC with Duty-Cycled Multiple Feedback Filter [PDF]
This paper presents a co-design of a 10-bit SAR ADC and its front-end filter. Because the SAR ADC works as a discrete-time data converter, its input signal only needs to be accurate at its sampling moment. Therefore, the filter can be switched off in the

Spectral Efficiency of Mixed-ADC Massive MIMO [PDF]
We study the spectral efficiency (SE) of a mixed-analog-to-digital converter (ADC) massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system in which K single-antenna users communicate with a base station equipped with M antennas connected to N high ...

2015 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2015
This paper presents a multiple-sampling technique using a Single-Slope ADC (SSADC) for low-noise CMOS image sensors. In the proposed technique, the number of sampling is controlled depending on an input signal to effectively reduce the noise of a readout circuit at dark-light illumination. An example of circuit implementation is illustrated.
