Numerical Exploration of Thermal Shock Resistance in MgO–C Refractories

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A mesostructure‐resolved numerical framework is developed to evaluate the thermal shock resistance of MgO–C refractories. By modeling interface debonding under rapid temperature changes and introducing a modified thermal shock parameter that accounts for mesocracks, the study shows how graphite content and aggregate size influence thermal shock ...

Microstructure Evolution of a VMnFeCoNi High‐Entropy Alloy After Synthesis, Swaging, and Annealing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The synthesis and processing (rotary swaging and annealing) of the novel VMnFeCoNi alloy is investigated, alongside the estimation of the grain size effect on hardness. Analysis of a wide grain size range of recrystallized microstructures (12–210 µm) reveals a low annealing twin density.

Influence of Test Temperature and Test Frequency on Fatigue Life of Aluminum Alloy EN AW‐2618A

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The influence of test temperature and test frequency on the fatigue life of EN AW‐2618A is investigated. High‐cycle fatigue tests are performed at different test temperatures and frequencies on the 1000 h/230°C overaged state. Both test parameters reduce fatigue life due to time‐dependent damage mechanisms.

Qualitative study of cubic differential systems with invariant straight lines of total multiplicity seven along one direction

open access: yes, 2018
Consider the general cubic di erential system x_ = Px; y, y_ = Qx; y, where P;Q 2 R[x; y], max fdeg P; degQg = 3 and GCDP;Q = 1. According to [1], we can construct a Darboux rst integral for a cubic di erential system, if this system has suciently many invariant straight lines considered with their multiplicities.

Classification of cubic systems with invariant straight lines along one direction of total multiplicity at least seven

open access: yes, 2019
The Darboux integrability of a polynomial differential system depends on the multiplicities of its invariant curves. We show that there are 34 canonical forms of cubic systems which have real or complex invariant straight lines of total multiplicity seven along one direction including the straight line at the infinity.

LOTKA-VOLTERRA CUBICDIFFERENTIAL SYSTEMS WITH (1:-2)- SINGULARITY AND INVARIANT AFFINE STRAIGHT LINES OF TWO DIRECTIONS OF TOTAL ALGEBRAIC MULTIPLICITY SIX

open access: yesActa et Commentationes: Ştiinţe Exacte şi ale Naturii, 2016
The Lotka-Volterra cubicdifferential systems with (1:-2)-singularity possessing invariant straight lines of two direction and total multiplicity six are classified. There are obtained fifteen distinct classes modulo the affine transformations and time rescaling.
