The Future of Research in Cognitive Robotics: Foundation Models or Developmental Cognitive Models?
Research in cognitive robotics founded on principles of developmental psychology and enactive cognitive science would yield what we seek in autonomous robots: the ability to perceive its environment, learn from experience, anticipate the outcome of events, act to pursue goals, and adapt to changing circumstances without resorting to training with ...

Grounding Large Language Models for Robot Task Planning Using Closed‐Loop State Feedback
BrainBody‐Large Language Model (LLM) introduces a hierarchical, feedback‐driven planning framework where two LLMs coordinate high‐level reasoning and low‐level control for robotic tasks. By grounding decisions in real‐time state feedback, it reduces hallucinations and improves task reliability.

In vitro shoot multiplication of Ziziphus spina-christi by shoot tip culture
In vitro shoot multiplications were obtained successfully from shoot tips of Ziziphus spina-christi by placing explants into solidified medium (MS medium) supplemented with 0.01 mg/l NAA and 0.1 mg/l BA or 0.1 mg/l IAA and 1.0 mg/l kinetin. It was concluded that lower concentrations of all cytokinin studied were better for lateral bud proliferation and

Continuum Mechanics Modeling of Flexible Spring Joints in Surgical Robots
A new mechanical model of a tendon‐actuated helical extension spring joint in surgical robots is built using Cosserat rod theory. The model can implicitly handle the unknown contacts between adjacent coils and numerically predict spring shapes from straight to significantly bent under actuation forces.
