Multiple shooting methods for parabolic optimal control problems with control constraints

PAMM, 2015
AbstractIn the context of ordinary differential equations, shooting techniques are a state‐of‐the‐art solver component, whereas their application in the framework of partial differential equations (PDE) is still at an early stage. We present two multiple shooting approaches for optimal control problems (OCP) governed by parabolic PDE.

Periodic waveform Krylov subspace method of circuit systems by multiple shooting

IEE Proceedings - Circuits, Devices and Systems, 2005
A multiple shooting technique is presented for determining the periodic responses of a linear circuit system by waveform relaxation (WR). Two ways to compute the unknown multiple shooting points are also provided. The new WR approach, namely a Krylov subspace algorithm in function space for a periodic system, is an accelerating process of classic WR ...

Flexible Partial Screen-Shooting Watermarking With Provable Robustness

IEEE transactions on circuits and systems for video technology (Print)
Screen-shooting watermarking is an effective means of protecting screen content from unauthorized capture and illegal dissemination. However, existing methods are primarily designed for full-image capture, making them ineffective for partial screen ...

On the Performance of Triangulation-Based Multiple Shooting Method for 2D Geometric Shortest Path Problems

2014
In this paper we describe an algorithm based on the idea of the direct multiple shooting method for solving approximately 2D geometric shortest path problems (introduced by An et al. in Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, 244 (2103), pp. 67-76).

Shoot multiplication of Paphiopedilum orchid through in vitro cutting methods

2016
Paphiopedilum orchids are generally propagated through the division of axillary buds from mother plant, which limits commercial production due to its unproductive proliferation and time consuming. In this study, the effect of in vitro cutting methods and medium composition on efficient shoot multiplication of Paphiopedilum Hsinying Rubyweb was ...

A STUDY ON ROOTING IN THE DIFFERENT METHODS OF OBTAINED SHOOTS WITH SHOOT MULTIPLICATION IN VITRO OF KIWI (Actinidia chinensis Planch.)

2011
In this study, ıt was aimed rooting Kiwifruit cv. Hayward obtained shoots in vitro in vivo and again in vitro. Therefore, nodal explants have been used to obtain the shoots at the begining of culture. After that, these shoots were used again as explant recourses for obtaining new shoots. These nodal explants were cultured into two media known as MS and
