Pathogenic Germline PALB2 and RAD50 Variants in Patients With Relapsed Ewing Sarcoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Approximately 10% of patients with Ewing sarcoma (EwS) have pathogenic germline variants. Here, we report two cases: first, a novel germline pathogenic variant in partner and localizer of BRCA2 (PALB2) in a patient with a late EwS relapse. Its impact on homologous recombination is demonstrated, and breast cancer risk is discussed.

Group decision-making algorithm with sine trigonometric r,s,t-spherical fuzzy aggregation operators and their application

open access: yesScientific Reports
r, s, t-spherical fuzzy (r, s, t-SPF) sets provide a robust framework for managing uncertainties in decision-making, surpassing other fuzzy sets in their ability to accommodate diverse uncertainties through the incorporation of flexible parameters r, s ...

Time-dependent Pax3-mediated chromatin remodeling and cooperation with Six4 and Tead2 specify the skeletal myogenic lineage in developing mesoderm.

open access: yesPLoS Biology, 2019
The transcriptional mechanisms driving lineage specification during development are still largely unknown, as the interplay of multiple transcription factors makes it difficult to dissect these molecular events.

Hierarchy of the Selberg zeta functions

open access: yes, 2004
We introduce a Selberg type zeta function of two variables which interpolates several higher Selberg zeta functions. The analytic continuation, the functional equation and the determinant expression of this function via the Laplacian on a Riemann surface

SPECIAL VALUES OF MULTIPLE SINE FUNCTIONS

open access: yesKyushu Journal of Mathematics, 2008
We investigate values of the multiple sine function of period (1,...,1) at rational numbers. We show explicit formulas using special values of Dirichlet L-functions. We also study the case of the multiple gamma function.

Patient‐Level Barriers and Facilitators to Inpatient Physical Therapy in Adolescents and Young Adults With a Hematological Malignancy: A Qualitative Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Despite their increased risk for functional impairment resulting from cancer and its treatments, few adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with a hematological malignancy receive the recommended or therapeutic dose of exercise per week during inpatient hospitalizations.

On refined Chern-Simons/topological string duality for classical gauge groups

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We present the partition function of the refined Chern-Simons theory on S 3 with arbitrary A, B, C, D gauge algebra in terms of multiple sine functions. For B and C cases this representation is novel.

Expansion around half-integer values, binomial sums and inverse binomial sums

open access: yes, 2004
I consider the expansion of transcendental functions in a small parameter around rational numbers. This includes in particular the expansion around half-integer values.

Psychological Safety Among Interprofessional Pediatric Oncology Teams in Germany: A Nationwide Survey

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Psychological safety (PS) is essential for teamwork, communication, and patient safety in complex healthcare environments. In pediatric oncology, interprofessional collaboration occurs under high emotional and organizational demands. Low PS may increase stress, burnout, and adverse events.

A Time Series Decomposition and Reinforcement Learning Ensemble Method for Short-Term Passenger Flow Prediction in Urban Rail Transit

open access: yesUrban Rail Transit, 2023
Short-term passenger flow prediction (STPFP) helps ease traffic congestion and optimize the allocation of rail transit resources. However, the nonlinear and nonstationary nature of passenger flow time series challenges STPFP.
