A case of polydactyly with multiple thresholds in the mouse

Proceedings of the Royal Society of London. Series B. Biological Sciences, 1975
Abstract A spontaneous occurrence of polydactyly in mice failed to comply with any acceptable segregation ratio, but its genetic basis was established by its rapid response to selection. Both the incidence and the severity of abnormality increased.

Establishing the threshold prior to single and multiple stimulus supra‐threshold strategies

Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics, 1995
Summary The purpose of this study was to establish whether the routines used to establish the threshold at the beginning of single and multiple stimulus supra‐threshold strategies yield the same values and whether data from one strategy can, therefore, be compared with those from the other without having to compensate for a difference

Foveal increment thresholds for multiple flashes*

Journal of the Optical Society of America, 1973
To determine threshold luminance as a function of the interval separating successive subliminal flashes, 2, 3, 6, and 100 5-ms flashes were added to a centrally fixated background luminance. The interval separating successive flashes was varied from 0 to 150 ms, and four background luminances were used.

Single stimulus and multiple stimulus threshold

Vision Research, 1972
Abstract In some experiments it was proved that both the level and the variation of the differential threshold of a single stimulus is the same as the level and variation of the threshold for this stimulus when presented simultaneously with 2 or 3 other stimuli (multiple stimulus).

Multiple constant multiplication implementations in near-threshold computing systems

2015 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2015
Modern applications, such as video and audio processing, employ many licnear transforms and filters, such as the discrete cosine transform (DCT) and fast Fourier transform (FFT). There is a need to drastically reduce the energy consumption of these applications in order to enable their ultralow energy realization on mobile devices.
