Advancements and Applications of Lateral Flow Assays (LFAs): A Comprehensive Review
Over a decade ago, WHO introduced the ASSURED (Affordable, Sensitive, Specific, User-friendly, Rapid and Robust, Equipment-free, and Deliverable to end-users) criteria to guide diagnostic assay development.

Cooperative Multiplexing in the Multiple Antenna Half Duplex Relay Channel
Cooperation between terminals has been proposed to improve the reliability and throughput of wireless communication. While recent work has shown that relay cooperation provides increased diversity, increased multiplexing gain over that offered by direct ...

Diversity-multiplexing tradeoff in mode-division multiplexing [PDF]
The capacity of mode-division multiplexing (MDM) systems is limited, for a given outage probability, by mode-dependent loss (MDL) and gain. Modal degrees of freedom may be exploited to increase transmission rate (multiplexing gain) or lower outage probability (diversity gain), but there is a fundamental tradeoff between the achievable multiplexing and ...

Synchronization in Delayed Multiplex Networks
We study impact of multiplexing on the global phase synchronizability of different layers in the delayed coupled multiplex networks. We find that at strong couplings, the multiplexing induces the global synchronization in sparse networks.

The problem of estimating desired characteristics of a response $X$, where $X = h(y)$ and $y$ is a vector random variable with statistically independent components from known distributions, may be handled by standard Monte Carlo techniques. We are interested in the generalization where several distributions are of interest, one at a time, for each ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

A 25-year-old man with a 20-year history of asymptomatic nodules on his arms and trunk, which histopathological analysis showed to be consistent with steatocystoma multiplex, is presented. Steatocystoma multiplex is a disorder characterized by multiple, asymptomatic, dermal cysts that usually occur on the trunk and proximal aspects of the extremities ...

ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.
