Jitter calculus in ATM networks: multiple nodes

IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, 1997
We provide simple techniques for estimating the end-to-end jitter incurred by a periodic traffic in an asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) network. Our analysis is based on the careful examination of light and heavy traffic behavior of jitter incurred to a tagged renewal stream in a single node.

Situation Calculus for Multiple Action Representation

Proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Computer Systems and Technologies, 2017
The paper follows a sequence of publications dedicated to development of new situational-event calculus, which main concepts are: using of order-sorted logic and branching time concepts, taking into account many alternative outcomes of the same action, applying actions, grouped in a list to model their simultaneity.

Foregrounding Multiplicative Structure in Essential Calculus Topics

2022
Approaches to calculus have emphasized limits, derivatives, and integrals, among other topics. Yet, across different approaches, the subject continues to pose significant challenges. The present study reports a new approach to calculus that takes multiplicative structure as an equally essential topic that is often overlooked or taken for granted. In an

Calculus of variations for multiple-valued functionals

Reports on Mathematical Physics, 1992
The aim of the author is to extend the calculus of variations to multivalued functions and argues that homological algebra provides the most natural language for this purpose.

KATUGAMPOLA FRACTIONAL INTEGRAL INEQUALITIES IN MULTIPLICATIVE CALCULUS WITH MULTIPLE PARAMETERS

Fractals
This work focuses on the investigation of multi-parameterized inequalities for [Formula: see text]differentiable functions through the framework of multiplicative Katugampola fractional integrals. Central to our approach is the derivation of a multi-parameterized identity associated with the multiplicative Katugampola fractional integrals, which ...
