Consistency checking for multiple view software architectures

ACM SIGSOFT Software Engineering Notes, 1999
Consistency is a major issue that must be properly addressed when considering multiple view architectures. In this paper, we provide a formal definition of views expressed graphically using diagrams with multiplicities and propose a simple algorithm to check the consistency of diagrams.

Data Consistency in Multiple Source Documents

Homicide Studies, 2008
Data from the 2003-2004 National Violent Death Reporting System were used to compare consistency of homicide variables across multiple source documents. The NVDRS integrates death certificate, coroner/medical examiner and law enforcement data. Included in this analysis are 5,737 homicide incidents.

Consistent multiple factorization of dual amplitudes

Il Nuovo Cimento A Series 10, 1970
Using operatorial formalism, we construct a scattering amplitude for an arbitrary number of spinning particles. The amplitude satisfies duality when the particles are put on their mass shells and exhibits the same factorization spectrum as the amplitudes for scalar particles.

Interactive consistency with multiple failure modes

Proceedings [1988] Seventh Symposium on Reliable Distributed Systems, 2003
The authors address the problem of reaching Byzantine agreement in a distributed system in the presence of different types of faults and show that significant improvements in reliability and performance are possible if faults can be partitioned into disjoint classes.

Consistency when Teaching Multiple Sections

Proceedings of the 50th ACM Technical Symposium on Computer Science Education, 2019
Recent popularity of computer science courses has caused class enrollments to skyrocket to mega level of several hundred students. Due to space and other constraints, multiple sections of each class are often taught by the same instructor. Students attending different section are taking the same exam, which requires the instructor to keep teaching ...

Surface‐consistent suppression of multiples

GEOPHYSICS, 1985
A primary reflection from any layer located somewhere below a water bottom (Figure 1a) is accompanied on a seismic record by series of multiples whose raypaths include one or more extra reflections from a water bottom (Figure 1b) either at a shot and/or at a geophone location.
