Multiple view consistency for data warehousing

Proceedings 13th International Conference on Data Engineering, 2002
A data warehouse stores integrated information from multiple distributed data sources. In effect, the warehouse stores materialized views over the source data. The problem of ensuring data consistency at the warehouse can be divided into two components: ensuring that each view reflects a consistent stare of the base data, and ensuring that multiple ...

On Preserving Variability Consistency in Multiple Models

Proceedings of the 15th International Working Conference on Variability Modelling of Software-Intensive Systems, 2021
Model-driven software product line engineering (MDPLE) is a holistic approach to realize variability-intensive systems by using models. In MDPLE the usage of models aims to increase the level of automation by reducing the product derivation to a pure code derivation step.

Multiple Frequency-Selective Surfaces Consisting of Ring Patches

Electromagnetics, 1995
Abstract Frequency selective surfaces composed of planar arrays of ring patches embedded in a stratified dielectric medium are analyzed. The solution of the scattering problem is carried out by the method of moments directly in the spectral domain. In particular, a new set of basis functions with divergent behaviour has been used, and the appropriate ...

Consistency Management in Multiple Perspective Medical Decision Analysis

1998
Multiple perspective reasoning is often involved in real-world decision analysis. Different perspectives may be suitable for different stages of the decision modeling process. Multiple perspective modeling calls for consistency management which ensures that the different perspectives reflect the same information.

Deferred-Update Replication Supporting Multiple Consistency Models

2015 Third International Symposium on Computing and Networking (CANDAR), 2015
Many distributed systems use a replication mechanism for reliability and availability. On the other hand, developers have to consider minimum consistency requirement for each application. Therefore, a novel replication protocol that supports multiple consistency models is required.

Multiple linear parameters algorithm in illumination consistency

Proceeding of the 11th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation, 2014
According to outdoor scene light estimation, this paper gives a solution based on multiple linear parameters. Broadly, the programs can be divided into three different stages. They are image preprocessing stage, image decomposition stage and light parameter estimation stage. Image preprocessing stage is to guarantee the authenticity and validity of the

Multiple suppression by data‐consistent deconvolution

SEG Technical Program Expanded Abstracts 1998, 1998
Water‐layer multiples and peg‐legs are a frequently occurring problem in marine data processing. For data from areas with slow lateral variations and moderate amplitude of the water‐bottom reflection, these reverberations can often be suppressed by predictive deconvolution.

Admissible, consistent multiple testing with applications

2009
For multivariate normal models and exponential family models a multiple testing stepwise method is offered that is both admissible and consistent. The method is readily adaptable to selecting variables in linear regression models where it is akin to the forward selection method plus a screening stage plus a sign compatibility stage.

Extended Multiple Descriptions with Reconstruction Consistency Constraints

2016 IEEE Globecom Workshops (GC Wkshps), 2016
In the multiple descriptions (MD) problem with L channels, a decoder is said to be in Level α (1 ≤ α ≤ L) if it can access a subset of α encoders. We extend the MD problem by imposing an additional distortion criterion, called the subset distortion criterion, for each subset of reconstructions. The subset distortion criterion
