Interactive consistency with multiple failure modes

The authors address the problem of reaching Byzantine agreement in a distributed system in the presence of different types of faults and show that significant improvements in reliability and performance are possible if faults can be partitioned into disjoint classes.

From Multiple Images to a Consistent View

The approach presented in this paper allows a team of mobile robots to estimate cooperatively their poses, i.e. positions and orientations, and the poses of other observed objects from images. The images are obtained by calibrated color cameras mounted on the robots.

Consistent multiple factorization of dual amplitudes
