The Schur Multiplicative and Harmonic Convexities for Three Classes of Symmetric Functions [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2018
We investigate the Schur harmonic convexity for two classes of symmetric functions and the Schur multiplicative convexity for a class of symmetric functions by using a new method and generalizing previous result. As applications, we establish some inequalities by use of the theory of majorization, in particular, and we give some new geometric ...

HERMITE-HADAMARD TYPE INEQUALITIES FOR MULTIPLICATIVELY GEOMETRICALLY P-FUNCTIONS

open access: yesPoincare journal of analysis and applications, 2018
In this paper, we introduce a new class of extended multiplicatively geometrically P -function. Some new Hermite-Hadamard type inequalities are derived. Results represent significant refinement and improvement of the previous results. 1.

Approximating Minimization Diagrams and Generalized Proximity Search [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Annual Symposium on Foundations of Computer Science, 2013
We investigate the classes of functions whose minimization diagrams can be approximated efficiently in Red. We present a general framework and a data-structure that can be used to approximate the minimization diagram of such functions. The resulting data-

Calculus of convex polyhedra and polyhedral convex functions by utilizing a multiple objective linear programming solver [PDF]

open access: yesOptimization, 2018
The article deals with operations defined on convex polyhedra or polyhedral convex functions. Given two convex polyhedra, operations like Minkowski sum, intersection and closed convex hull of the union are considered. Basic operations for one convex polyhedron are, for example, the polar, the conical hull and the image under affine transformation.

Identifying Physical Interactions in Contact‐Based Robot Manipulation for Learning from Demonstration

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Robots can learn manipulation tasks from human demonstrations. This work proposes a versatile method to identify the physical interactions that occur in a demonstration, such as sequences of different contacts and interactions with mechanical constraints.

A State‐Adaptive Koopman Control Framework for Real‐Time Deformable Tool Manipulation in Robotic Environmental Swabbing

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a state‐adaptive Koopman linear quadratic regulator framework for real‐time manipulation of a deformable swab tool in robotic environmental sampling. By combining Koopman linearization, tactile sensing, and centroid‐based force regulation, the system maintains stable contact forces and high coverage across flat and inclined surfaces.

In Situ Characterisation of Hydrogels via Dynamic Interface Printing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Hydrogels have become pivotal materials for tissue engineering, robotics, biomedical devices, and sensing applications due to their diverse material compositions and tunable mechanical properties. While significant effort has focused on developing novel manufacturing approaches such as extrusion bioprinting and light‐based fabrication methods,

Microscale Mapping of Fiber Strain and Damage in Composite Wrinkled Laminates Using Computed Tomography Assisted Wide‐Angle X‐Ray Scattering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study combines full‐field tomography with diffraction mapping to quantify radial (ε002$\varepsilon _{002}$) and axial (ε100$\varepsilon _{100}$) lattice strain in wrinkled carbon‐fiber specimens for the first time. Radial microstrain gradients (−14.5 µεMPa$\varepsilon \mathrm{MPa}$−1) are found to signal damage‐prone zones ahead of failure, which ...

Neural Fields for Highly Accelerated 2D Cine Phase Contrast MRI

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT 2D cine phase contrast (CPC) MRI provides quantitative information on blood velocity and flow within the human vasculature. However, data acquisition is time‐consuming, motivating the reconstruction of the velocity field from undersampled measurements to reduce scan times. In this work, neural fields are proposed as a continuous spatiotemporal
