The Evolving Paradigms of Military Interventions and China: Lessons from Global Centre-Periphery Relations [PDF]

open access: yesMeđunarodna politika
Military interventionism, a unilateral and coercive practice in international politics, is widely discussed in scholarly literature. However, key aspects, such as a consolidated definition of military intervention and the complex geographical features

Multipolarity in plural: resignification(s), language games, and Russia's multiple identities [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
"In his working paper, the author addresses the situation of linguistic uncertainty that gives obvious political effects. He approaches the concept of multipolarity, which has been well-known for decades, and demonstrates that it has multiple meanings in

CLASPs prevent irreversible multipolarity by ensuring spindle-pole resistance to traction forces during chromosome alignment

open access: yes, 2012
Loss of spindle-pole integrity during mitosis leads to multipolarity independent of centrosome amplification. Multipolar-spindle conformation favours incorrect kinetochore-microtubule attachments, compromising faithful chromosome segregation and daughter-

Plus Ça Change? Prospects of a Nuclear Deterrence Multipolarity in Southern Asia

open access: yes, 2022
Some scholars assess that Southern Asia comprises a nuclear chain or a deterrence trilemma. Although the region is home to three states with nuclear weapons, there is only one clear nuclear deterrence dyad.

Bridging Boltzmann and Non‐Boltzmann Optical Thermometry Enabled by Multimodal Perovskite Nanocrystals

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Multimodal perovskite nanocrystals enable optical thermometry across multiple excitation and emission regimes, spanning the UV–Vis–NIR spectral range. By combining upconversion, downshifting, and persistent luminescence, the platform bridges conventional Boltzmann and non‐Boltzmann thermometric approaches.

Interactions of Antibody Drug Conjugate Anti‐Tubulin and Topoisomerase I Inhibitor Payloads with Radiotherapy to Potentiate Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Antibody drug conjugates deliver their cytotoxic anti‐tubulin or topoisomerase I inhibitor payloads to tumors through cancer cell receptor targeting. The released drug payloads induce cellular changes that interact with radiotherapy resulting in radiosensitization that improves cancer cell kill and stimulates anti‐tumor immune responses.

Mapping multipolarity: soft and hard power in the digital age

open access: yesDiscover Global Society
This paper examines how “multipolarity” is framed across digital and academic venues and how these framings may relate to soft- and hard-power narratives.

Strategic Partnership between Russia and China: Importance and Sustainability of Bilateral Relations

open access: yesСравнительная политика, 2016
In the light of the present political situation in the world, namely complex relations between Russia and the West, on the one hand, and existing tensions between China and some of its regional neighbors, on the other, strategic partnership between ...

Unraveling the Molecular Mechanisms Underlying Spontaneous Multipolar Mitosis Through CIN‐seq

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multipolar mitosis, a hallmark of chromosomal instability (CIN), drives tumor heterogeneity but is challenging to study in live cells. Using CIN‐seq, a single‐cell multiomics method, we profiled rare CIN events and identified mechanisms associated with viable multipolar mitosis, including PTEN attenuation, Rho GTPase‐driven cytokinesis failure, and ...
