Brain and Spinal Cord Monitoring by Multispatial and Multimodal Evoked Potentials during Aortic Surgery

1988
The most serious complications of aortic surgery are ischemic spinal cord and/or brain dysfunctions caused by an aortic clamp or emboli (15). As neurological signs and symptoms of ischemic lesions by aortic clamping are masked during anesthesia, an alternative measure should be undertaken for monitoring the brain and spinal cord functions.

Classification of mild cognitive impairment developmental trajectories using multispatial scale structural brain networks

NeuroReport
Objective In this study, we investigated the interactions between brain regions at different scales in patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) to classify patients with MCI who may develop Alzheimer’s disease (MCI-Converter (MCI-c)) and those with stable cognitive states (MCI-Stable (MCI-s)) at multiple spatial scales.

Multistatus and Multispatial Scale Assessment of Landscape Effects on Benthic Macroinvertebrates in the Neotropical Savanna

2019
Despite its importance as a global biodiversity hotspot, the Neotropical savanna is threatened by rampant agricultural, hydropower, and mining development. This chapter describes the influence of landscape patterns and land uses on the taxonomic composition and structure of benthic macroinvertebrate assemblages in wadeable streams and hydropower ...

A metropolitan input-output model: Multisectoral and multispatial relations of production, income formation, and consumption

The Annals of Regional Science, 2004
This study formulates a metropolitan input-output model (hereafter MIO) that incorporates the multispatial and multisectoral nature of an urban economic system. Two main features can be highlighted which distinguish the MIO model from other input-output models as applied to the urban context.

Race in Place: Black Parents, Family–School Relations, and Multispatial Microaggressions in a Predominantly White Suburb

Teachers College Record: The Voice of Scholarship in Education, 2017
Background Research has demonstrated the importance of understanding the multiple factors that shape parents’ relationships with schools, including the resources parents have at their disposal, their own educational histories, and the influence of school cultures and policies.

Multispatially Localized DNA Walker Coupling Covalent Organic Framework for Dual-Mode Detection of Nucleocapsid Protein Using the Walking-Recycling-Conversion Strategy

Analytical Chemistry
DNA walkers have emerged as a powerful tool in bioanalysis; however, many existing approaches are still restricted by low reaction kinetics and inaccurate single-mode detection. Herein, a fluorescence (FL) and electrochemical (EC) dual-mode biosensor was proposed based on a multispatially localized DNA walker (m-DNA walker) coupling covalent organic ...
