An Investigation of Spanwise Mixing in Multistage Axial Flow Compressors [PDF]
An equation system has been deduced for meridional throughflow fields of multistage axial flow compressors, presenting different kinds of spanwise mixing effects of the fields in a unified form. The spanwise mixing in compressors is caused by three kinds of effects, molecular motion, turbulent diffusion, and circumferential non–uniformities, the last ...

INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECT OF AIR HUMIDITY ON GAS TURBINE ENGINE PARAMETERS
The mathematical model of a turbo-shaft engine with a two-stage gas generator was obtained. This model is based on the multi-stage compressor blade – to - blade description, which makes it possible to evaluate the effect of air humidity on its ...

Compliant Pneumatic Feet with Real‐Time Stiffness Adaptation for Humanoid Locomotion
A compliant pneumatic foot with real‐time variable stiffness enables humanoid robots to adapt to changing terrains. Using onboard vision and pressure control, the foot modulates stiffness within each gait cycle, reducing impact forces and improving balance. The design, cast in soft silicone with embedded air chambers and Kevlar wrapping, offers durable,

By adjusting Ga's doping in Cu–Sn alloy, an ultra‐high elongation of 100.8% is achieved in first time. Ga forms a stable solid solution structure and a stronger electron exchange with Cu. This enhances strength‐ductility synergistically by tuning SFE to balance twinning and slip.
