Workshop on multistatic and MIMO radar

IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Magazine, 2010
MIMO radar should not be regarded as a separate subject, but rather as part of a continuum of different types of diverse, networked radar sensors.

A sparse bayesian approach to multistatic radar imaging

2011 Conference Record of the Forty Fifth Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems and Computers (ASILOMAR), 2011
We tackle the problem of multistatic radar image formation by simultaneously exploiting the sparsity and covariance structure of radar images measured by a local GSM distribution of wavelet coefficients. Our aim is to gauge the extent to which such local statistical information can be leveraged in addition to the commonly used l 1 sparsity constraint.

An exact Bayesian detector for multistatic passive radar

2016 50th Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems and Computers, 2016
An exact Bayesian likelihood ratio is derived for detecting the presence of a rank-2 signal in M > 2 channels of noisy receiver data under the assumption that the signal is known to be present on K = 2 of the channels (reference channels). The objective of the test is thus to ascertain whether the signal is also present on the other channels ...

Foliage-penetration human tracking by multistatic radar

2016 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS), 2016
Human target detection and tracking have great potential in military, safety, security and entertainment applications. In this paper, a complete processing procedure is proposed for human tracking in foliage-penetration environment by multistatic radar.

The nature of bistatic and multistatic radar

2001 CIE International Conference on Radar Proceedings (Cat No.01TH8559), 2002
Bistatic and multistatic radar has some properties which are completely different from current monostatic radar. Some special properties that are closely related to tactical applications are derived. Through overall analysis, we believe that this will become one of the most important military radar systems.

Introduction to passive and multistatic radar

2017
Due to the recently renewed interest inside the radar community, bistatic and multistatic radar are again a hot topic of research, despite the fact that their history is almost as old as the history of radar itself. This history is also quite well documented and revised.

Survey on multistatic radar detection

1987
The purpose of this paper is to determine receiver structures suitable to detect a target, by properly processing a number of distinct radar observations obtained by the diverse sensors. In view of this, optimum receivers are synthesized according to a Neyman-Pearson strategy, and their performances are evaluated in order to assess the effects of the ...
