Genetic Algorithm Assisted Minimum Bit Error Rate Multiuser Detection in Multiple Antenna Aided OFDM
The family of minimum bit error rate (MBER) multiuser detectors (MUD) is capable of outperforming the classic minimum mean-squared-error (MMSE)MUDin term of the achievable bit-error rate (BER) owing to directly minimising the BER cost function.

We meta‐analyzed 10 studies to assess whether influent flow rate affects SARS‐CoV‐2 RNA detection in wastewater treatment plants serving ≤60,000 inhabitants. The pooled odds ratio (2.08; 95% CI: 0.994–37; p = 0.053) showed no significant association between flow rate and detection probability.

Adaptive Minimum-BER Linear Multiuser Detection for DS-CDMA Signals in Multipath Channels
The problem of constructing adaptive minimum bit error rate (MBER) linear multiuser detectors is considered for direct-sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) signals transmitted through multipath channels.

The human Respiratory Syncytial Virus (hRSV) stands as one of the most common causes of acute respiratory diseases. The infectivity of this virus is intricately linked to its membrane proteins, notably the attachment glycoprotein (G protein).
