Blind Chip-Rate Multiuser Equalisation

open access: yes, 2003
This paper addresses blind multiuser detection in a DS-CDMA downlink channel. The synchronous users are separated by re-establishing orthogonality of their spreading sequences in a common chip-rate equaliser.

Spectropolarimetric Holographic Multiplexing Metasurface With Super‐High Capacity Empowered by Mechanical Rotation

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 15, Issue 9, 13 May 2026.
Mechanically reconfigurable metasurfaces enable high‐capacity optical storage and holography due to low cost/complexity. A differentiable inverse design framework maps meta‐atom geometries to multichannel optical responses via deep neural networks. Rotatable cascaded metasurfaces optimized through this pipeline achieve pixel‐level holography with 288 ...

Symbol‐Level GRAND‐Assisted Detection for Polar‐Coded Spatial Modulation in MIMO Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Communication Systems, Volume 39, Issue 7, 10 May 2026.
This research presents an integrated polar‐coded spatial modulation (PCSM) transceiver scheme for MIMO transmission over Rayleigh fading channels. The proposed architecture employs linear spatial signal processing for antenna and symbol estimation, followed by symbol‐level guessing random additive noise decoding (symbol‐level GRAND)–assisted detection ...

Nanometric Faujasite (FAU) Zeolite Ion‐Exchanged With Metal Ions for Hemostatic and Antimicrobial Applications: A Thromboelastographic and Microbiological Study

open access: yesChemistry – An Asian Journal, Volume 21, Issue 9, 14 May 2026.
Faujasite nanozeolite (NanoFAU) and its ion‐exchanged forms (Ag+, Ba2+, Ca2+, Mg2+) were synthesized and characterized to assess their biomedical potential. NanoFAU‐Ca showed superior hemostatic activity, while NanoFAU‐Ag exhibited strong antimicrobial effects against S. aureus and C. albicans.
