Multivariable Nehari problem and interpolation

open access: yesJournal of Functional Analysis, 2003
The author obtains a multivariable version of Nehari's theorem for generalized Hankel operators. He also obtains an analogue of the Adamyan-Arov-Kreĭn theorem on \(s\)-numbers of Hankel operators. As an application, a description of Hankel operators on Fock spaces is given.

Property Prediction and Resilience Analysis in Polyionic Glasses Using a Machine‐Learning Algorithm with Multivariate Output

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A multivariate machine‐learning model is employed using Gaussian process regression to predict property profiles of complex glass formulations based on small but highly consistent datasets. Abstract Designing the chemical composition of multi‐component glasses toward a set of target properties requires information on a complex range of trade‐off ...

Upsampling for Improved Multidimensional Attribute Space Clustering of Multifield Data

open access: yesInformation, 2018
Clustering algorithms in the high-dimensional space require many data to perform reliably and robustly. For multivariate volume data, it is possible to interpolate between the data points in the high-dimensional attribute space based on their spatial ...

Interpolation and backdating with a large information set [PDF]

open access: yes
Existing methods for data interpolation or backdating are either univariate or based on a very limited number of series, due to data and computing constraints that were binding until the recent past.

Smart Sampling Capsule for Capture and Detection of Enteric Pathogens in the Small Intestine

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
An ingestible smart sampling capsule for capturing asymptomatic enteric pathogens at their primary sites of interaction within the small intestine. This capability enables non‐invasive detection of early pathogen colonization within the gut environment prior to fecal shedding, providing a robust approach for pathogen surveillance and microbiome studies.

Comparison of IDW, Kriging and orographic based linear interpolations of rainfall in six rainfall regimes of Ethiopia

open access: yesJournal of Hydrology: Regional Studies
Study region: Six rainfall regimes of Ethiopia covering an area of 1.13 million km2. Study focus: Hydrological studies in mountainous terrain require high-resolution spatiotemporal rainfall data. Individual linear interpolation based on elevation, aspect

Applications of QSPR and Machine Learning in Molecular Photonics

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Quantitative structureproperty relationships (QSPR) and machine learning (ML) are transforming photochemistry by enabling pre‐synthetic screening of photoactive molecules. This review outlines advances in data‐driven discovery of optical materials and functional dyes, identifies effective descriptors and models for photophysical processes, and provides

A kind of improved bivariate even order Bernoulli-type multiquadric quasi-interpolation operator and its application in two-dimensional coupled Burgers’ equations

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
Multiquadric quasi-interpolation is an efficient high-dimensional approximation algorithm. It can directly obtain the approximation term and its derivatives without solving any large-scale linear equations.

Perceptual Bias in Motion Discrimination is Related to Asymmetric Interhemispheric Alpha Traveling Waves

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study shows an asymmetric connectivity between visual motion areas, with alpha travelling waves favouring left‐to‐right (thick red arrow) over right‐to‐left (thin blue arrow) communication. This asymmetry predicts a bias toward reporting leftward (higher number of red dots) over rightward (lower number of blue dots) motion direction, regardless of ...
