Mumps Vaccine: Possible Reaction
Pediatrics, 1969The following is a report of a reaction to the mumps vaccine, which has not been described before to the best of my knowledge. The patient, a healthy 12-year-old male, was given mumps vaccine (MUMPSVAX, Merck Sharp and Dohme) on January 9, 1969. Four days later he developed the following symptoms: dizziness, vomiting, extreme restlessness, and insomnia.
