The Case of a 40‐Year‐Old Man With New‐Onset Status Epilepticus in the Setting of HIV Infection

ABSTRACT A 40‐year‐old man from Andhra Pradesh in India, while on regular antiretroviral treatment (ART) for long‐standing HIV infection presented with a 1‐day history of new‐onset status epilepticus. CT and MRI brain showed multifocal cerebral ring lesions, some of which demonstrated characteristic ‘hole‐with‐a‐dot’ sign.

SSR4 Sustains Tertiary Lymphoid Structures by Regulation Quality Control of N‐linked Glycosylation During B‐cell Differentiation Into Plasmacyte in Colorectal Cancer

SSR4, a TRAP component induced in B cells, governs BAFFR N‐glycosylation via DDOST to sustain NF‐κB signaling, B‐cell differentiation, and TLS maturation. Its loss impairs anti‐tumor immunity, while overexpression improves antibody glycosylation and ADCC, revealing a critical regulator for cancer immunotherapy.

Single‐cell atlas of neuroglial dynamics in SNCA‐A53T Parkinson's disease mouse model

We performed single‐cell RNA sequencing of midbrain and striatal tissues from SNCA‐A53T Parkinson's disease (PD) mice, revealing glia‐enriched PD‐risk gene signatures and disease‐specific subpopulations. Transcriptional dysregulation of key TFs (e.g., Rorb, Foxc1) and enhanced neuroinflammatory signaling (SEMA, CCL, MIF) were identified.

We report a 78‐year‐old woman with therapy‐refractory distal esophageal stenosis initially considered benign. PEG tube placement for nutritional support revealed an unexpected squamous cell carcinoma. The patient underwent esophagectomy.
