The efficacy and optimal timing of pelvic floor muscle training for post‐prostatectomy incontinence in BPH patients: A systematic review

open access: yesUroPrecision, EarlyView.
Abstract Surgical intervention for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) can lead to postoperative stress urinary incontinence. Pelvic floor muscle exercises (PFME) are proposed as a non‐invasive strategy to mitigate symptoms, but their efficacy and optimal timing remain unclear.

Evaluation of systemic consequences of brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome in dogs

open access: yesVeterinary Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS) results from upper airway anatomical abnormalities and may cause systemic effects depending on severity. Methods A prospective, case‒control and observational study was conducted.

Unilateral mastication‐induced memory deficits linked to disrupted hippocampal cholesterol metabolism in rats

open access: yesVIEW, EarlyView.
Unilateral mastication, a common oral habit, induces cognitive decline in rats by disrupting hippocampal cholesterol metabolism. It triggers astrocyte hyperplasia, enhances cholesterol synthesis, impairs transport/degradation, and reduces 24‐hydroxycholesterol (24‐OHC), ultimately damaging synaptic function.

Integrated multi‐omics analysis reveals metabolic reprogramming as a key driver of angiotensin II‐induced vascular remodeling

open access: yesVIEW, EarlyView.
This study investigates the molecular alterations underlying angiotensin II (Ang II)‐induced vascular remodeling in cardiovascular diseases using a multi‐omics approach. Through data exploration and integrated multi‐omics analysis, our findings reveal that Ang II‐driven vascular injury in vascular smooth muscle cells is mediated by metabolic ...
