FURTHER EVIDENCE OF CENTRAL MUSCLE RELAXANT ACTIVITY OF IMIPRAMINE, DESMETHYLIMIPRAMINE AND AMITRIPTYLINE

open access: yesJapanese Journal of Pharmacology, 1966
Hafliger (1) synthesized a series of iminodibenzyl compounds which were found to possess antihistaminic, anticholinergic, sedative and analgesic properties. It was only after a clinical trial by Kuhn (2) that G 22355 (imipramine) “emerged as an antidepressant”.

Biomimetic, Suturable, and Extensible Electrospun Scaffolds for Lower Urinary Tract Surgical Reconstruction

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Biomimetic, suturable, biodegradable fibrous scaffolds are engineered to mimic the tensile properties of LUT tissue using photocrosslinked 5:5% weight per volume elastin‐like peptide and methacrylated gelatin (5E5G). In vitro, urothelium, smooth muscle, and fibroblast 7 day cytocompatibility is demonstrated.
