A Comparative Study of Polysomnography‐Derived Sleep Disturbance in People Living With Multiple Sclerosis Compared to Matched Controls From the General Population

open access: yesJournal of Sleep Research, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Sleep structure and sleep disorders were compared between people with multiple sclerosis (MS; n = 39) and age, sex, and BMI‐matched members of the general population (n = 39) using overnight polysomnography (PSG). Additional Diagnostic Yield of Ambulatory 24‐h High Resolution Manometry With Impedance in Patients With Non‐Cardiac Chest Pain or Non‐Obstructive Dysphagia

open access: yesNeurogastroenterology &Motility, EarlyView.
Spastic and hypercontractile esophageal motor disorders can cause retrosternal pain and/or dysphagia but may be missed by short‐term high resolution manometry (HRM). 24‐h‐HRM detected considerable circadian variability of esophageal contractility and markedly increased the percentage of patients diagnosed with a major motor disorder.

The conundrum of esophagogastric junction outflow obstruction: Answers to key clinical questions

open access: yesAnnals of the New York Academy of Sciences, EarlyView.
Esophagogastric junction outflow obstruction (EGJOO) is a heterogeneous disorder characterized by abnormal esophagogastric junction pressures in the setting of intact peristalsis. The significance of this finding is highest in patients with dysphagia or chest pain, and in patients for whom there is a clinical suspicion for an achalasia variant.

Neurological Evaluation of Severe Congenital Kyphosis With Compressive Myelopathy in 39 Patients With a Minimum 1‐Year Follow‐Up

open access: yesOrthopaedic Surgery, EarlyView.
We suggested that the duration of symptoms and the severity of spinal cord compression were two major contributors to the neurological prognosis in patients with CK. MRI indicators of poor prognosis included the presence of T1WI hypointensity, T2WI hyperintensity, and greater MCC, MSCC, and MTAC.
