Force control of musculoskeletal manipulator
2012 12th IEEE International Workshop on Advanced Motion Control (AMC), 2012This paper presents force control of musculoskeletal manipulator. The kinematic and dynamic properties are shown to address the presence of ennvironmental contact with the manipulator. From this contact, the force control schemes were explored, by comparing between monoarticular-only structure and biarticular structure manipulator.

Musculoskeletal Attenuation of Impact Shock in Response to Knee Angle Manipulation
Journal of Applied Biomechanics, 2012Shock waves resulting from the foot-ground impact are attenuated by biological tissues within the body. It has been suggested that the primary site for shock attenuation is the knee joint. The purpose of this study was to determine if knee flexion affects the filtering characteristics of the musculoskeletal system in response to impacts.
