An AI‐Enabled All‐In‐One Visual, Proximity, and Tactile Perception Multimodal Sensor
Targeting integrated multimodal perception of robots, an AI‐enabled all‐in‐one multimodal sensor is proposed. This sensor is capable of perceiving three types of modalities, including vision, proximity, and tactility. By toggling an ultraviolet light and adjusting the camera focus, it switches smoothly between multiple perceptual modalities, enabling ...

Continual Learning for Multimodal Data Fusion of a Soft Gripper
Models trained on a single data modality often struggle to generalize when exposed to a different modality. This work introduces a continual learning algorithm capable of incrementally learning different data modalities by leveraging both class‐incremental and domain‐incremental learning scenarios in an artificial environment where labeled data is ...

Film Musical and Musical Film: The Narrative and Auxiliary Functions of Music and Choreography as a Way to Differentiate Between the Genres [PDF]
There is still no unambiguous and generally accepted definition of the genre of ‘film musical’ in the Russian film literature, which leads to significant confusion in the classification of films and makes it difficult to analyze them.

Here, we present a textile, wearable capacitive interface enabling multidirectional remote control by dynamically modulating electrode overlap and spacing via a freely gliding upper electrode. A forearm‐mounted prototype drives robotic and media tasks with 12–15 ms latency, maintains < 0.8% drift after 500 cycles, and remains stably functional at 90 ...

Vascular Aβ40 corrupts GRP78 phase behavior in brain endothelial cells, sustaining IRE1α–TRAF2–JNK signaling and driving apoptosis, tight junction loss, and blood–brain barrier failure in cerebral amyloid angiopathy. Pharmacological IRE1α inhibition restores vascular integrity, reduces leakage, and improves functional outcomes, revealing a targetable ...

Quantum‐Like Dynamics in Whole‐Brain Models of the Human Connectome
Quantum‐like dynamics in the human brain. The level of quantum‐like behavior in a non‐quantum system of coupled oscillators is regulated by the spectral gap of the coupling graph. Whole‐brain modelling using QL fits the empirical data significantly better and has a lower model‐derived energy cost than the non‐QL model.

PROVERBS IN AN AMERICAN MUSICAL
In this article I present the results of the cognitive-discursive study into the way Anglo-American proverbs function in an American musical. “The Full Monty” was selected as the material for my analysis. First, I look at some characteristic features of
