Port Decoupling for Small Arrays by Means of an Eigenmode Feed Network [PDF]
An alternative approach to port decoupling and matching of arrays with tightly coupled elements is proposed. The method is based on the inherent decoupling effect obtained by feeding the orthogonal eigenmodes of the array.

Innovating Aircraft Repair Processes: The Role of Digitalization in Sustainability
This research explores how digitalization—by storing detailed non‐destructive testing data in structured DICONDE databases and creating a standard data model of the component—innovates aviation maintenance and repair processes. Coupled with a developed state‐based simulation model, it enables data‐driven, sustainable repair strategies that reduce waste,

Effects of Ground Constituent Parameters on Array Mutual Coupling for DOA Estimation
Effects of ground constituent parameters on the mutual coupling (MC) of monopole antenna array are investigated. This work augments an existing MC compensation technique for ground-based antennas and proposes reduction in mutual coupling for antennas ...

Mutual Coupling Reduction between Asymmetric Reflectarray Resonant Elements
A physically asymmetric reflectarray element has been proposed for wide band operations. The dual resonant response has been introduced by tilting one side of the square path element. The numerical results have been analyzed in the frequency band between 24GHz to 28GHz where a reflection phase range of more than 600° has been achieved.

High‐temperature interactions between low‐sulfur Al‐killed Mn–B steel and MgO–C refractories (0 and 50 wt% recyclates) are studied via finger immersion tests (1600 °C). Surface‐active elements influence infiltration. MgO/CaS layer forms, along with spinel and calcium silicate.

Selectivity as a function of membrane thickness: gas separation and pervaporation [PDF]
In this article, the pervaporation selectivity as a function of the membrane thickness is studied for the dehydration of acetic acid. From this study, it appeared that the selectivity of polysulfone (PSF), poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC), and ...

A numerical model resulting from irreversible thermodynamics for describing transport processes is introduced, focusing on thermodynamic activity gradients as the actual driving force for diffusion. Implemented in CUDA C++ and using CalPhaD methods for determining the necessary activity data, the model accurately simulates interdiffusion in aluminum ...

An Efficient 2-D DOA Estimation for a Cylindrical Conformal Array with Unknown Mutual Coupling
The limited space of a conformal array may lead to a serious mutual coupling effect, which will significantly affect the performance of direction of arrival (DOA) estimation algorithms.

Design of chipless UWB RFID system using A CPW multi-resonator [PDF]
In this paper, the design of a novel chipless ultra-wideband radio-frequency identification (UWB RFID) system is proposed. The system employs printable uniplanar chipless tags and a pair of high-gain reader antennas.
