Efficient Real-Valued Rank Reduction Algorithm for DOA Estimation of Noncircular Sources Under Mutual Coupling

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Noncircular sources are widely used in wireless communication array systems, which can offer more accurate estimates and detect more sources. However, in practical array systems, the directionof-arrival (DOA) estimation performance may be severely ...

Molecular Dynamics Studies of Shape Memory Polymers: From Bead–Spring Models to Atomistic Simulations

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Encyclopedia of 2D β′‐In2Se3 Growth Using Chemical Vapor Deposition: The Effects of Synthesis Parameters Onto Material Quality

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A distinct semi‐confined inner‐tube chemical vapor deposition geometry enables reproducible, large‐area growth of phase‐pure 2D β′‐In2Se3 from InI + Se precursors. Engineering local vapor transport and optimizing precursor delivery and temperature–time conditions yield uniform continuous films.

Mutual Coupling Reduction Between Axial-Mode Helical Antennas using Single-Negative (SNG) Magnetic Metamaterials

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering Research, 2010
This paper investigates the mutual coupling effects between axial-mode helical antenna arrays. Single-negative (SNG) magnetic metamaterials are developed and used in this work in order to reduce mutual coupling between axial-mode helical antennas used in

Visualization and Reduction of Mutual Coupling between Antennas Installed on a Platform

open access: yes, 2022
Mutual coupling, or equivalently, the isolation between antennas, is a key parameter in antenna system design. In this article, the previously defined impedance density is generalized, and it is demonstrated how it can be used to obtain spatial ...
