Mycophenolate Acid vs Mycophenolate Mofetil Therapy

Transplantation Proceedings, 2010
Mycophenolate mofetil (MMF) is included in the basic immunosuppression regimen in heart transplantation (HTx). Classically, the mycophenolic acid (MPA) concentration has not been considered to provide clinical information. To perform a comparative analysis of MMF dosage and MPA concentration and their effect on post-HTx renal function.Sixty patients ...

[Mycophenolate mofetil].

Revue medicale de Bruxelles, 1998
Mycophenolate Mofetil (MMF) is a new immunosuppressive agent that selectively inhibits the proliferation of T and B lymphocytes. The use of MMF in renal transplantation significantly reduced the incidence of acute rejection episodes in the first year after transplantation. The main toxicities of MMF are the occurrence of diarrhea and leucopenia.
