First report of indolent cutaneous T‐cell lymphoma in a fennec fox (Vulpes zerda)

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, EarlyView.
A 10‐year‐old fennec fox (Vulpes zerda) was presented for multifocal regions of chronic alopecia and crusting. Cutaneous lymphocytosis was diagnosed through histopathological examination and immunohistochemical investigation. Clonal rearrangement of the T‐cell receptor gamma locus supports that lymphocytosis in this case is an indolent lymphoma ...

T-Cell Membrane Characteristics Of “Mycosis Cells” In The Skin And Lymph Node [PDF]

open access: yes, 1975
In some patients with mycosis fungoides atypical cells (“mycosis cells”) are found in the blood. Recently the T-cell membrane characteristics of these atypical cells have been described. In this paper the results of a study of the atypical cells isolated

Modified total skin electron treatment for a paraplegic patient

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 26, Issue 7, July 2025.
Abstract Total Skin Electron Therapy (TSET) has been a highly effective treatment for mycosis fungoides (MF). However, the standard TSET treatment requires the patient to stand upright in six different positions for an extended time period, which may not be possible for some patients.

Evaluation of Variant Lymphocyte Count in Peripheral Blood Smear of Patients with Mycosis Fungoides and Its Comparison with the Normal Population

open access: yesپزشکی بالینی ابن سینا, 2023
Background and Objective: Mycosis fungoides is a neoplastic skin disorder whose underlying cause is not yet fully understood. There are hypotheses about the possible effect of viral agents on the development of mycosis fungoids that have not yet been ...

miR-223 Regulates Cell Growth and Targets Proto-Oncogenes in Mycosis Fungoides/Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The pathogenesis of the cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL), mycosis fungoides (MF), is unclear. MicroRNA (miRNA) are small noncoding RNAs that target mRNA leading to reduced mRNA translation. Recently, specific miRNA were shown to be altered in CTCL.

Commissioning and clinical implementation of low dose dual‐field rotational TSET

open access: yesJournal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics, Volume 26, Issue 7, July 2025.
Abstract Background Total skin electron therapy (TSET) is a specialized technique for treating cutaneous T‐cell lymphomas, such as mycosis fungoides. While traditional TSET regimens prescribe 30–36 Gy, low dose TSET at 12 Gy has gained attention due to its reduced toxicity.

Prurigo Nodularis in a Patient With Primary B‐Cell Immunodeficiency Successfully Treated With Low‐Dose Methotrexate: A Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 7, July 2025.
ABSTRACT Prurigo nodularis is a chronic pruritic condition that leads to a vicious itch‐scratch cycle, which can significantly impair quality of life. Low‐dose methotrexate is an effective option for patients with chronic nodular prurigo not responding to topical therapy, offering a favorable safety profile and improving their quality of life.
