Photochemotherapy in mycosis fungoides
Clinical and Experimental Dermatology, 1978Summary Thirty-eight patients with various stages of mycosis fungoides were treated with oral 8-meth-oxypsoralen and longwave ultraviolet radiation (PUVA). The majority responded well to PUVA, especially those with the early stages of the disease.

The clinical history and pathological findings of a 68‐year‐old female with mycosis fungoides were described.Clinically she developed cutaneous eruptions, and plaques to nodules appearlng within the next 4 months. Histopathological examination at biopsy revealed mycosis fungoides.

Current Treatment Options in Oncology, 2004
Treatment of mycosis fungoides (MF) is indicated to reduce symptoms, improve clinical appearance, prevent secondary complications, and prevent progression of disease, all of which may have an impact on survival. Treatment of MF includes topical and systemic therapies, which can be administered alone or in combination.

Extracutaneous mycosis fungoides
Cancer, 1987The clinical course of 40 patients with histologically documented extracutaneous mycosis fungoides (ECMF) was reviewed. Thirty one patients had documentation of nodal disease only (Stage IVA). Nine patients had histologic evidence of visceral involvement (Stage IVB).
