Reoperations for myocardial revascularization

open access: yesThe Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, 1977
Reoperations solely for myocardial revascularization were performed in 219 consecutive patients (1967 to 1975). Indications were (1) graft failure, 46 (21 per cent); (2) progressive atherosclerosis, 42 (19 per cent); (3) incomplete revascularization, 39 (18 per cent); and (4) combinations, 92 (42 per cent).

Myocardial Viability Testing in Patients with Ischemic Cardiomyopathy [PDF]

open access: yesZhongguo quanke yixue
Ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICM) is an important cause of heart failure with reduced ejection fraction. Despite the improvement of treatment methods, it still has a high mortality.

Meta-analysis of death and myocardial infarction in the DEFINE-FLAIR and iFR-SWEDEHEART trials: a hypothesis generating note of caution [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In patients with coronary heart disease, revascularization can improve symptoms and in certain high-risk subgroups may improve prognosis. Coronary angiography provides anatomical information and the physiological significance of a stenosis can be ...

Clinical Relevance of Rehospitalizations for Unstable Angina and Unplanned Revascularization Following Acute Myocardial Infarction

open access: yesJournal of the American Heart Association: Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease, 2016
BackgroundRehospitalizations following acute myocardial infarction for unplanned coronary revascularization and unstable angina (UA) are often included as parts of composite end points in clinical trials.

Infarct size and left ventricular remodelling after preventive percutaneous coronary intervention [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Objective: We hypothesised that, compared with culprit-only primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), additional preventive PCI in selected patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction with multivessel disease would not be associated with ...

Myocardial protection during myocardial revascularization: Preductal®MR

open access: yesМедицинский совет, 2013
Myocardial revascularization procedures (coronary artery bypass surgery, percutaneous coronary intervention) raise the question of protecting the myocardium. Trimetazidine is an adequate method of myocardial protection.

Revascularization of myocardial infarction without ST segment elevation in multivessel coronary artery disease

open access: yesЕвразийский Кардиологический Журнал
Many patients with non-ST elevation myocardial infarction have multivessel coronary artery disease, which complicates the course of the disease and is associated with fatal outcomes.
