Mechanical Stress Triggers Premature Senescence in Cardiac Fibroblasts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cellular senescence contributes to disease burden in cardiovascular disease (CVD) and aging, highlighting the need to understand its induction. In primary cardiac fibroblasts, reduced strain and increased frequency, mimicking CVD, elicit a distinct senescent phenotype compared to oxidative stress.

Reinstating Niche Failure in Diabetic Cranial Defects via Chronotaxic Signal‐Amplifying Fluidic Biomimetic Hydrogel

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An in situ moldable GelSSO/PDA@SDF hydrogel functions as a chronotaxic signal‐amplifying biomimetic niche to restore regenerative failure in diabetic cranial defects. By sequentially releasing SDF‐1α‐loaded PDA nanoparticles and osteoinductive oligodeoxynucleotides, it orchestrates immunomodulation, progenitor recruitment, angiogenesis, and ...

Micro/Nanorobots for Combating Brain Disorders: Challenges, Advances, and Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Micro/nanorobots (MNRs) offer a transformative approach for precision therapy in brain disorders. By overcoming biological barriers and enabling controlled propulsion, targeted delivery, and real‐time imaging/tracking, MNRs pave the way toward effective, minimally invasive treatments. This review outlines the interplay between brain disease challenges,
