Evaluation of Immunological Response to TLR2 and α-SMA in Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis
Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs) represent multifactorial chronic inflammatory conditions of the gastrointestinal tract. The main IBDs are Crohn’s disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC). CD may cause perforation, stricture or transmural inflammation,

Advances and Challenges in Micro/Nanocarrier‐Based Dermal Drug Delivery Systems for Acne Treatment
Topical acne treatment faces challenges from skin barriers and complex causes. Micro/nanocarriers improve drug delivery by enhancing bioavailability, targeting, and duration. Combining carriers creates synergistic effects for systematic intervention.

Using a 3D cell culture model of the fibrotic barrier in pancreatic cancer, this work shows that inhibiting NUAK2 kinase in pancreatic stellate cells enhances macromolecular drug delivery. Mechanistically, NUAK2 inhibition disrupted actin stress fiber assembly to downregulate collagen I expression, thus enhancing macromolecular permeability.

Wound Repair Using PVA–CA Electrospun Dressings and Cold Plasma In Vivo
In vivo wound healing evaluation of different treatments in a murine excisional wound model. (a) Representative photographs of wound closure at 3, 7, and 14 days post‐treatment for the different groups: Control, PVA‐CA, PVA‐CA‐Ag, NTP, PVA‐CA‐NTP, and PVA‐CA‐Ag‐NTP. (b) Experimental design showing six treatment groups with n = 18 wounds per group.

Cytokine Pathways Driving Diverse Tissue Pathologies in Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a complex systemic disorder characterized primarily by articular inflammation and destruction with associated functional loss and reduced quality of life. RA is also associated with extra‐articular disease, such as that of the lung, with potentially devastating clinical consequences. The critical importance of comorbidities,

Ogerin induced activation of Gpr68 alters tendon healing
Satisfactory outcomes after acute tendon injuries are hampered by a fibrotic healing response. As such, modulation of extracellular matrix deposition and remodeling represents an important intervention point to improve healing. During fibrosis, matrix is

Objective Beyond its role as a ribosome‐targeting antibiotic, linezolid was recently shown to modulate immune responses by inhibiting mitochondrial translation. Because mitochondrial dysfunction is implicated in various fibrotic diseases, including systemic sclerosis (SSc), this study aimed to evaluate the antifibrotic potential of linezolid and ...

Objective Dermal Systemic Sclerosis (SSc) fibroblasts and their exosomes can activate keratinocytes in SSc, with lncRNA H19 (H19) highlighted as the most upregulated RNA in their cargo compared to healthy control (HC). The role of H19 in SSc pathogenesis has never been investigated.
