Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1976
Abstract Potato seed pieces were planted 4 inch apart in marl soil on November 13, 1974. Plots consisted of 2 rows 3 ft apart, 40 ft long. Treatments were randomized and replicated 3 times. Insecticides were applied January 31, 1975 in 100 gal water/A using a 150 psi tractor mounted sprayer with 5 nozzles per row.

Insecticide Resistance by Gene Amplification in Myzus Persicae
1992Gene amplification in Myzus persicae permits the synthesis of large quantities of esterase that cause resistance by detoxifying a wide range of insecticides. Two, slightly different forms of esterase can be elevated and the corresponding amplified genes show much homology, but differ at the 3′ end.

La resistenza agli insetticidi nell'afide Myzus persicae (Sulzer)
2012Myzus persicae (Sulzer) (Hemiptera: Aphididae) is a key pest in Italian peach orchards but also in many herbaceous crops. Insecticide treatments selected resistant populations. Several resistance mechanisms in M. persicae are known: esterases and mixed function oxydases overproduction and target site insensitivity for carbamates, pyrethroids and also ...
