The cytoskeleton‐mediated transport of mitochondria via tunnelling nanotubes restores respiration, increases ATP production, rescues cells from apoptosis, activates the AKT/mTOR signalling pathway, promotes cell migration and invasiveness, contributes to cancer progression and treatment resistance.

Cracking the Code: Genotype–Phenotype Correlation Models in Sarcoglycanopathies
ABSTRACT Objective Sarcoglycanopathies are among the most severe limb‐girdle muscular dystrophies (LGMD), though milder presentations have been described. These diseases are primarily caused by missense variants, but the limited predictability of their effect on protein maturation, complex formation, and transport has hindered reliable genotype ...

N-cadherin-mediated interaction with multiple myeloma cells inhibits osteoblast differentiation [PDF]
Background Multiple myeloma is a hematologic malignancy characterized by a clonal expansion of malignant plasma cells in the bone marrow, which is accompanied by the development of osteolytic lesions and/or diffuse osteopenia.

N-Cadherin Juxtacrine Signaling Regulates the Endothelial Barrier
Endothelial cells express Vascular Endothelial (VE)- and Neural (N)-cadherin, which have overlapping functions. VE-cadherin forms homotypic adhesion between endothelial cells whereas N-cadherin forms heterotypic adhesion with the surrounding pericytes ...

We present a tissue‐stimulator platform for seamless electrode integration with pancreatic tissue, applying uniform electrical stimulation through optimized design with biohybrid 3D printing. Advantageous effects of electrical stimulation on β‐cell function were observed, including enhanced calcium signaling, islet morphology, and maturation.

Microfabricated Anisotropic Myobundles for the Scalable Production of Cardiac Tissue Grafts
Controlling the anisotropy of cardiac tissue remains an outstanding challenge in the field of cardiac tissue engineering. Here, we introduce an approach to generate anisotropic cardiac myobundles using cell‐adhesive, synthetic, electrospun fibers and stem cell‐derived cardiac fibroblasts.

Mechanical and Electrical Phenotype of hiPSC‐Cardiomyocytes on Fibronectin‐Based Hydrogels
We introduce fibronectin‐based PEG hydrogels with controlled rigidity to enable the culture of iPSC‐derived cardiomyocytes. These substrates offer an alternative to the current culture of these cells on fibronectin‐coated glass, providing enhanced structural and functional behavior. The system provides a more physiologically relevant platform to assess
