Assessing dissimilarity of random sets using envelope test and test based on N-distances

2016
This contribution concerns comparing of random sets given (digital) images of their realisations. In classical statistics, being able to specify a particular model is of great benefit, since we can for example estimate and compare the model parameters. Unfortunately, it is not necessarily feasible.

[PAF-antagonists with phospholipid structure. 4. Alkylcarbamoylphospholipids with heteroarene and heterocyclase head groups and variation of the P-N-distance; synthesis, characterization and structure-activity relationship].

Die Pharmazie, 1992
A series of 11 PAF-analogues, structurally modified in position 1 (alkylcarbamoyloxy), position 2 (n-propyl), and position 3 (polar head group) were synthesized, and the inhibitory potencies on human blood platelets in vitro was evaluated. Investigations of structure-activity relationships revealed, that the PAF antagonist activity is strongly ...

Similarity measures of random sets based on N- distances and their applications to two- realisation problem

2018
General random sets could be of very ragged shapes and therefore it is difficult to describe them by simple models and compare them. In this contribution, we focus on statistical testing of similarity of random sets in a non-parametric way. The talk presents some types of similarity measures of random sets based on just two realisations of each set ...
