A graph G = ( V , E ) , where | V | = n and | E | = m is said to be a distance magic graph if there exists a bijection from the vertex set V to the set { 1 , 2 , … , n } such that, ∑ v ∈ N ( u ) f ( v ) = k , for all u ∈ V , which is a constant and ...

Variational Registration of Multiple Images with the SVD Based $$\mathrm {S}q\mathrm {N}$$ Distance Measure [PDF]
Image registration, especially the quantification of image similarity, is an important task in image processing. Various approaches for the comparison of two images are discussed in the literature. However, although most of these approaches perform very well in a two image scenario, an extension to a multiple images scenario deserves attention. In this

General model of phospholipid bilayers in fluid phase within the single chain mean field theory
Coarse-grained model for saturated (DCPC, DLPC, DMPC, DPPC, DSPC) and unsaturated (POPC, DOPC) phospholipids is introduced within the Single Chain Mean Field theory.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Accurate measurement of C13–N15 distances with solid-state NMR [PDF]
Solid-state NMR technique for measuring distances between heteronuclei in static powder samples is described. It is based on a two-dimensional single-echo scheme enhanced with adiabatic cross polarization. As an example, the results for intramolecular distances in α-crystalline form of glycine are presented. The measured NMR distances Cα13–N15 and C′13–

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

An Inclusive Distance Irregularity Strength of n-ary Tree
An inclusive distance vertex irregular labelling of a simple graph G is a function of the vertex set of to positive integer set such that the sum of its vertex label and the labels of all vertices adjacent to the vertex are distinct.

Graph-based discovery of ontology change patterns [PDF]
Ontologies can support a variety of purposes, ranging from capturing conceptual knowledge to the organisation of digital content and information. However, information systems are always subject to change and ontology change management can pose challenges.
